Advanced Workers' Exhibition 2012
The club says a BIG "Thank you"!
To all of you who visited the exhibition and gave such positive feedback. Without you the exhibition would simply not exist. All money raised on the door, in the equipment sale, in the raffle and in the sale of refreshments and lunch is essential to club funds and enables the club to continue running in the manner to which it has become accustomed!
To all of you who got involved in any aspect of this year's exhibition from organising, exhibiting, setting up, cooking, washing up, manning the doors and all the other myriad tasks, which however small and menial, are essential to the smooth running of the show, to the final disassembly and packing away. It was a huge team effort which paid off in spades with the biggest ever number of visitors coming through the doors and a massive amount of encouraging and positive feedback.
Once the figures are in they will be published on this page so please check back soon. Also on this page will be a few photos of the exhibition in progress so if anyone has any such images please email them to admin@chichestercameraclub.org.uk and a selection will be shown here.
"Not The Last Supper" - Saturday night after the crowds have gone home, camera club members and distinguished guests get down to the serious business of the day.
A message from our Chairman:
TO ALL MEMBERS OF CCC
This is just a brief note of congratulation to all of you who contributed in any way to the success of the Advanced Workers Exhibition at North Mundham. It was a resounding success in every respect and this was due to the exceptional quality of the work exhibited by many members and also to the tireless efforts of all those who helped in so many ways. It is a privilege for me to be associated with a club that can put on such a show that is so valued by other photographers and continues to inspire them and us.
It seems invidious to single out any individuals but Iain McGowan (most ably assisted by Joy) has organised this event for many years and always manages to keep it fresh and moving forward. We are deeply indebted to them both. Well done everybody !!
